Vans The Lizzie Shoes in Marshmallow. An all-new skate shoe designed in partnership with pro skater Lizzie Armanto, the self-titled Vans The Lizzie arrives as Vans’ first signature skate shoe designed by a woman in 20 years. Molded directly from 3D scans of her feet for a performance-fit construction, these high collared sneakers feature a lowered profile footbed, a leaner outsole for improved flexibility and a new vulcanised construction with an exposed outsole edge. Part of Vans’ VR3 Checkerboard Globe initiative, these premium skate shoes are designed with a reduced carbon footprint, combining organic cotton, natural rubber and biobased foam with supple suede sourced from environmentally-friendly Leather Working Group (LWG) tanneries. Enhanced with EcoCush cushioning, a new 3D embossed DURACAP toe and Vans’ pioneering micro-waffle tread, this neutral tone silhouette also features exposed stitchings and an embedded sidewall Stripe for further texture. A recessed eight eyelet lacing system secures the woven ‘Vans x L.E’ tongue in place, whilst the lined interior features hand drawn citrus fruit and botanical illustrations inspired by Lizzie’s love of plants. Finished with her first and last name embroidered across the underside of each heel flap, and with Vans’ all-new ‘Off The Wall Skateboarding’ scab displayed beneath.

Joining Vans in 2014 and known for being the first woman to feature on the cover of TransWorld Skateboarding Magazine, as well as her recent appointment as part of the Tokyo 2021 Olympic skate team, Lizze Armanto is a pioneering skater renowned for her creative expression and her storied career.
