Freshening things up for summer, the Vans Chima Pro 2 features this time in a crisp all white colour edition. This iteration of your favourite Aussie skater’s shoe has been made with a combination of canvas and suede uppers, while an UltraCush Lite 3D footbed offers a lightweight but sturdy finish, locked in place with a moulded heel cup. Heightened skating functionality, DURACAP reinforcement rubber underlays have been added in areas which are more prone to wear, giving your shoe an extra life line. Offering that Vans boardfeel and flex, Pro Vulc Lite construction has been used. Stylised in a minimal silhouette, the Vans Chima Pro 2 incorporates the classic side stripe into the design, accompanied by a custom tongue label and authenticating pro Off The Wall heel tab.
Chima Ferguson is definitely a skaters skater. With a style that can’t be emulated, I’m pretty sure the guy can back 360 anything he likes. As a long time Vans rider, it seemed only fitting that he got his own pro shoe, with its sequel coming shortly after.
