Converse Jack Purcell Pro Mid Leather Jake Johnson Shoes

Presenting a custom edition of the Jack Purcell Pro Mid Shoes designed by Jake Johnson, the smooth leather uppers of this model have been stripped back for a super clean look whilst the muted colour tone adds a rough edge. Two sets of laces arrive with each pair, white and another coloured matched to suit the leather and eyelets. The soft tongue wraps around the top of the foot for all-day comfort and has an embossed floral emblem close to its top edge which adds a custom detail that highlights the collab. The raised ankle silhouette offers support when active whilst the fabric lining offers a comfortable fit against the foot throughout the inside where a molded PU sockliner has been inserted for cushioning. The layered matte black rubber outsole adds further character and includes additional panels around the front of the toe for impact support. The subtle smile insert adds the signature touch of any Jack Purcell model. The outsole has a herringbone tread pattern for reliable traction with a branded inlay which shows Converse Chuck Taylor branding that confirms a certain quality level.

Having been signed to Converse since 2014, American pro skater Jake Johnson made his debut in his own ‘presenting’ edit which featured and was directed by fellow team rider and Polar Skate Co. founder Pontus Alv. Having opted for the Jack Purcell Pro Mid model for his own custom design, signature features borrowed from early badminton shoes remain whilst the silhouette has been elongated for coverage around the ankles.
